A few days ago I promised a post on “the camper” and I will not disappoint. Last summer we purchased a mini-rv, specifically a Winnebago Itasca Spirit on a 1990 Toyota chassis with a 3 liter, 6 cylinder engine. It has come in handy for this long trip.
We have not slept overnight in it but we have stopped in a quiet area and taken our mid-day nap and on those days that has made all the difference in the world. It has a fridge (so we don’t have to eat out as much), a propane heater (handy during the April snowstorms), sink, toilet, shower, DC-AC inverter, table & benches, closet, double bed over the cab, and less than 55K miles. It’s certainly not in mint condition, being almost 20 years old, but it’s not an overstatement to say that it’s made this trip possible. Even better, beginning sometime in late September it could be yours!

Hey, guys! Thanks for the recent updates…glad things have been going well for you thus far. Safe home…
