Money Matters

Do you know that LCMS World Mission has asked us to spearhead a pilot project to discover new ways of funding missionaries? This means that we’ll take a more active role in developing prayer partners and financial supporters than previous LCMS WM missionaries have been expected to. It also means that you can expect a dynamic connection to our work in Uganda as we commit to providing you with regular updates on the work.

You’ll be happy to know that 100% of your donation is applied directly to our support.  There are no percentages or fees taken out.   All dollars given for our support are earmarked for and restricted to our support.  Your donations intended for us are not applied to any other missionaries or projects.   If God ever uses donors to over-fund us in one particular year (and we’ll let you know if this ever happens), the excess funds are carried over and used for our support in the next fiscal year.  Isn’t that great?!

Not all the verbiage on synodical forms and websites reflect this new policy.  But rest assured that dollars given for the Gillard’s will be used for the Gillard’s.  We’d love to chat if you have any questions about the above-don’t hesitate to get in touch!
