Little girls cry, too

I thought you might like to hear about our day so far…a typical morning doing the kinds of things we need to do in this season of preparation…

I raced home after my almost-weekly raquetball game and we all headed to the Travel Clinic because the little girls still need a lot of shots.  Amelia was actually looking forward to it–she sees mommy take a shot every day.  Both were very brave.  Ameila got 3 pokes in the legs and didn’t even cry.  Line got 1 poke in the leg and cried hard for a little bit.  We had a super travel nurse in Janet B. who is involved at her LCMS congregation.  Thanks, Janet!

Then we needed a treat.  Ice cream sundays at McDonalds really hit the spot.  We had gift certificates so we can thank Grandma Kocur for treating the treats!
