TEE launched!

Our 2009 theological leadership training (a.k.a. Theological Education by Extension, or TEE) was launched over the weekend of February 6-8.  My co-worker wrote a nice summary here.  Here’s a photo of most of the men who made it to the first weekend.  We’ll post a full roster soon so you can pray them up!

  1. Great news! Jake, you’re quite literally standing with the future of the Church in Uganda…amen to that.

  2. Jacob, Mickelle and Family. My name is John. I am a member of the First Ev. Lutheran Church in Grand Rapids, MN. I have just joined our Church’s mission board. I have been assigned the responsibility of trying to set up a blog for our Board, which in part involves setting up a communication process between you and your family and ultimately our Church (through the mission board). As it relates to the use of computers I am good at financial packages, but blogs, etc. are something I am just starting to learn. So patience would be appreciated.

As it relates to Grand Rapids you might be interested in knowing that the ice has, within the last week, left our end of the lake. We actually think Spring will be here soon. The geese, ducks, and loons are back, so that is a very positive sign. Flowers are coming up close to the house and my wife is extremely happy; although she does vegetable gardening her joy is flower gardening.

Well I am going to try to send this off. May GOD bless you, your family, and your mission.

    John

    PS Excuse any spelling errors.
